When things go wrong, are you quick to yell, “I’m under attack”, as if this were something unplanned?   As if something is coming upon you suddenly and without the notice of God? I certainly do.

But, if God knew all things before the foundation of the earth, then, He knew the troubles long before they were even a though in our  mind.

He knew what sickness would come our way, He knew the number of days of our spouse and children, and He knew the temptations and challenges we would face.

He knows His love is strong enough to get you through.

He knew there would be times of lack of money, lack of understanding, lack of faith.

He knew we would fall back into old habits when we lost our way, and lean into new idols to dull life’s pain.

But, He knows His love is strong enough to get you through.

He knew we would discover our need for a Savior and still try to save ourselves.

He knew  dreams would be storm drowned and dashed on the edge of jetties before being launched on their maiden voyage.

But, He knows His love is strong enough get you through.

Sometimes, God removes with His left hand, and as understanding is acquired, as credibility is establish, and as faith is developed, He returns it with His mighty right hand.  When His right hand returns it, then there is strength in it’s purpose.

“These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold.” (1 Peter 1:7a NLT)

Fire cannot destroy pure gold; it only makes it more valuable as impurities are removed.

We feel the heat, but we are never destroyed.

Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego (Daniel 3) walked through the fire unharmed, because Christ walked with them.  They came out of the fire more valuable to God because their testimony was proven genuine, and credible, because they went through the fires.

“Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, “Blessed be the your God, who sent his angel and delivered his servants that trust in Him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God…Because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.” (Daniel 3:26-30 NASB)

I don’t want to seem naive’, the enemy does prowl looking for whom he can devour, but those who are in Christ can count it all joy because God uses what was meant for harm to make us stronger, and to bring Himself glory.

You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result. (Genesis 50:20 NASB)

God knew what would be, and He knows His love is strong enough get you through.
