Meet Diane W. Bailey...

Hi! Thank you for stopping by to visit! Though we may not have met yet, I am interested in getting to know you.

Having mentored a Motherhood small group , and an Empty Nest Group with (In)Courage as well as leading Bible study for our church I have walked with many women as they navigate many different areas of life.

My passion is to see women grow into everything God has created them to be. To push back the fear and live life as a great adventure.  I began my work life as a dental hygiene; however, I am now a certified Life Coach, helping women achieve their dreams for their families, and their personal goals.

I love meeting women in real life as I speak at conferences, women’s Bible studies and retreats.  Tailoring the talks to meet the needs of the group is my joy. Some of the talks I’ve given in the past are:

  • The Salt Life – Finding Joy In Your Life.
  • State of the Heart – How Do you Handle the Sorrows of Life?
  • Your Testimony – A Pearl of Great Price
  • Stepfamily

I have authored two books, 30 Days to a Better Stepfamily and String of Pearls, a book written to help women to find understanding about life, when it seems to go wrong.  As a speaker, at women’s conferences, or in small groups, I encourage them to turn their tears into treasures, just as a grain of sand become a pearl.

My husband, Doc and I live in the deep South and my life probably looks much like yours – fighting mounds of laundry, pulling weeds and trying to decide what to cook for supper.

Doc and I work each day at building our blended family, which reminds me of trying to keep vinegar and oil mixed.  It is all the shaking up that goes on that keeps us together. We share two adult children, two step children, three grandchildren and one African-American son-in-law.  Family can get crazy, and I understand this first-hand!

This blog is where I talk about family, stepfamily, and lessons that God is teaching  along the way and looking for clues to His presence each day.  So, please – come on in, grab some coffee, and let’s share laughs, stories, and God’s love.
