Five Minute Friday – Here is a Short Fictitious short story, In Five Minutes!
She kicks water across the shallow puddle of water – Her feet bare are glossy, and the hem of her dress is damp from rain.
Twirling, she leans her head back and welcomes the moisture to soak into the dark blonde ringlets cascading down her back. To her, this was worship, to dance in the rain, without concern about appearance, or proper form, or singing off key.
She pretends she is a ballerina and twirls again then raised one hand and leaps.
It is uncomfortable for her to tell other women, but this rain dancer can feel God smiling at her as she dances for him in the rain. This one, being washed by the dew of heaven, knows that He finds her beautiful, clever, and graceful.
Comfort comes to women, and they believe they are beautiful, when they know someone loves them and when they realize that the One is all they need.

This is beautiful. And I can relate to it so well. I too, worship through dance, and can truly feel our Lord smiling at me in those moments.
Thank you for writing this.
{Happy Five Minute Friday!}
Ahh, Rebekah, I love to meet someone with the same heart for the Lord. So great to meet you!
Dear Diane
This is so true. Unconditional love makes us feel beautiful and radiant! Knowing that our Lord Jesus loves us this way is so wonderful that we can just dance and sing for joy.
Blessings
Mia
Mia, I quote Emily Wierernga frequently, she say, “And when she knew that she was loved, then the woman in the mirror became beautiful!” I love that. It is so true in every women’s life.
I don’t feel this way often, but when I do, yes, I want to dance free in the rain too.
I can’t tell you when I last danced in the rain, but Alia, I’ll dance with you when I can, we can worship together!
