What can I tell you about the girls I hang out with beginning on Thursday night?  Then in the wee hours of Friday morning we all share mad writing skills.

I can tell you that we write Life.  We write encouragement.  We give sisterhood to so many who are lonely, and in need of friends, community, and endless joke about chocolate and ice cream.  Oh, how I love these girls.

They give breath to this desert dweller.

_MG_4088We all have seasons of the desert.  Times of begin called to a lonely place with the Lord and only the Lord.  And, here in this desert he whispers my name in the cool of the day, “I am here, please linger with me a little longer.”

I am not the only desert dweller here, there are others.  I read the stories of their heart with fingers bare in the hot sand.  Telling about the oasis of His love, in the dry and difficult places.

This Five Minute Friday and (in)courage group, I love so much.  I hold you in my heart as sisters.  That you would find in me a friend is a cool breeze in this hot land.

Thank you for always being here!  Thank you for always standing at the door, rejoicing when I enter our online party.  Calling my name as I sign on, as if I were the one you had be waiting for all along!  I hope you see my effort of showing you the same love in return.

It is Five Minute Friday, Typing for Five minutes with no regard for errors!  Joy!
